Passive Fundraising Programs

You too can help McPherson Magnet School with our “Passive Fundraising Programs”. All it takes is a little time on your part to register your cards and sign up, or cut and clip suggested items. Please take the extra ten minutes and register for these programs – it’s easy and painless, and means a lot for our school and your student!  Details by program are listed below:

Box Tops for Education

Here's a really easy fundraiser. It only takes 2.3 seconds, and EVERYONE can participate, kids included.  All you have to do is collect box tops from participating General Mills products (cereal, Fruit Roll-ups, Yoplait, etc.) Each box top is worth TEN CENTS and every single penny will be donated to McPherson Magnet School.

Here's how it works:
- Find a box of a participating General Mills product
- Rip off the "Box Tops for Education" logo (as seen above) Submit official Box Tops logos only! Please do NOT submit: Betty Crocker catalog points, Entire top flap, - UPC symbol, Entire bottom flap.
- Save the Box Tops till McPherson has their classroom competition.
You can find Box Tops for Education logos on more than 330 participating General Mills products such as Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Total, Fruit by the Foot, Fruit Roll-Ups, Dunkaroos, Yoplait yogurt multipacks, Yoplait Go-GURT yogurt, Lloyd’s Barbeque Buckets, Hamburger Helper, Betty Crocker potato side dishes, Potato Buds, Suddenly Salad, Bisquick, Baco-s, SuperMoist cake mix, Betty Crocker frosting, Stir ‘n Bake, Betty Crocker Supreme Brownies, and many, many more.  This is a great opportunity for students, parents, and grandparents to come together for the good of our school and our children’s futures.  So please, take a few extra seconds before you toss that empty box and clip out the Box Tops for Education logo.  Box Tops for Education also has a credit card which gives 1% of purchases back to schools. Campbell’s Soup Labels for Education

For more than 30 years, Labels for Education™ has been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family of brands.  It’s a fun, easy program where students, families and members of the community work together for a common goal.  Turn your labels into the front office at McPherson.  This is a simple, easy way to earn money for our school.  Take a look at www.labelsforeducation.com.  Remember to turn in the UPC with the Campbell’s symbol.  You can drop your labels in the container located in the front office.   If you have any questions, contact the school coordinator, Patricia Booth, at PEBooth@aol.com.

Office Depot 5% Back To Schools Program

It's easy!
- Buy school supplies at Office Depot
- Designate McPherson Magnet School to receive 5% of your qualifying purchase
- Office Depot will tally the qualifying purchases made during the program period
- Office Depot will award the McPherson Magnet School 5% of the qualifying purchases in credits the school can use for FREE SUPPLIES!*
Want to designate McPherson to receive 5% of your next school supply purchase? Visit your local Office Depot store and give the sales clerk McPherson Magnet School’s name.  NOTE: The trick is that you must tell the sales clerk, before they start to ring up the sale, that you want the 5% Back to School donation.

Online customers will be asked for school information including school name, address and city at the conclusion of their order, and the 5% credit will then be applied to that designated school based on qualifying purchases.

Recycled Ink Cartridges

Bring your empty ink cartridges to McPherson’s front office and drop them in the recycle box.  McPherson’s library receives money from “Perfect Pages” for all your empty recycles cartridges, to purchase new reading materials for all students.

 Fundraising for your Individual Student’s Account

McPherson Magnet School 2010-2011

RALPHS “REWARD’ CARD, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2010

 

Ralphs Reward Card members can earn up to 4% of your grocery bill towards your child’s individual field trip account (grades 3^rd – 8^th) or the principal scholarship fund (grades K-2^nd).  Individual field trip accounts can be used to pay for your child’s 6^th, 7^th and 8^th grade overnight field trips.

 

The Ralphs Community Contribution requires re-enrollment every school year.  Please follow these guidelines provided by the program.  The McPherson NPO# is 83128.  If you have any questions or issues enrolling your card, you can contact Ralphs at 800-660-9003.

 

1.    Participants will be required to register or re-register for the new term at www.Ralphs.com starting September 1, 2010. 

2.    Go to bottom of webpage under “Services” select “Community Contributions”.

3.    Select “My Rewards” and follow the instructions on the webpage to register or re-register your Ralphs Club card.  Login is required.

4.    Select “Create or Update Account” then go to bottom of page under “Community Contribution Program” and click “Edit Community Contribution Program Information”.

5.    On this page: 1. Find your organization – enter 83128 and click search. 2. Select you organization – click McPherson. 3. Save your selection – click Save changes.

6.    Print a copy of the internet enrollment page or your account page that displays your Ralphs Club number, attach it to the completed form BELOW and return it to the front office. 

 

It only takes a few minutes and you can begin accruing monies towards your child’s field trip cost.  You may also sign up family members, friends and neighbors.

 

If your card is registered with Ralphs but this form is not completed, contributions received on behalf of that card number will be applied to the Principal Scholarship fund.

Scrip is gift cards from national and local retailers.  They are the same gift cards that you buy at the store.  Except you receive up to 15% back for your CHILD’s individual field trip account!  These gift cards make great Birthday, Thank You, and Holiday gifts etc…as well as earn you money in your every day shopping.  I.e. groceries, gas, home improvement, fast food, clothes … Hundreds of retailers participate in our program.  If your child has enough funds in their field trip account; than designate your profit to be given to your child’s teacher for classroom supplies, or the front office for supplies, or help out one of your child’s friends.  Any questions please contact PTSA’s SCRIP coordinator located in your student directory.
